Structure

The filter separator is composed of a metal shell with primary filter element (filter coalescence filter element) and secondary filter element (separation filter element) inside, and is equipped with sewage valve, drain valve, differential pressure gauge, safety valve, heat tracing device and other accessories

Working principle

After the jet fuel enters the filter separator, it is first collected in the aluminum tray and then dispersed into the coalescence filter element from the inside to the outside. In the first step, the solid impurities are filtered by the filter layer, in the second step, the emulsified oil-water is separated through the demulsification layer, and in the third step, the small water droplets are aggregated into large water droplets by the coalescence layer and settled in the water collecting tank; Then, the small water droplets that can coalesce in the future are further separated by the water repellent effect of the separation filter element, settled in the sedimentation tank and discharged by the drainage valve. The clean fuel is collected in the secondary tray through the separation filter element and discharged from the outlet of the filter separator

Service life

The working state of the filter separator and the working life of the filter element are mainly judged according to the pressure difference. When the inlet and outlet pressure difference reaches 0.1MPa (1.0kg / cm & sup2;), It indicates that the coalescence filter element has been blocked and should be replaced. In addition, when the coalescing filter element is used for more than half a year, it should also be considered to replace it. The separation filter element is a permanent filter element, which can be used for a long time if there is no mechanical damage. However, when replacing the filter coalescence filter element, it should be removed for cleaning and inspection

The design pressure of the filter separator must be higher than the actual working pressure

The design flow of filtration separation should be greater than 30% - 50% of the actual working flow. The rated flow of the filter cannot be selected according to the rated flow of the pump, because the actual working flow of the pump is likely to be higher than its rated flow

The filter separator is divided into three levels: A, B and C; From 30m & sup3 according to flow/ h-500m³/ h; It is divided into 1.0, 1.6, 2.5, 4.0 and 6.4Mpa according to the design pressure; According to the installation form, it is divided into vertical and horizontal; According to the filtering accuracy, it is divided into 3~5μ M and 1 & mu; M (dedicated to filtering suspended solids); There are 170 specifications and models, including no heat tracing device and heat tracing device, according to the use area. The main performance indexes are as follows:

After the filter separator is installed, it can work continuously and reliably for a long time. Generally, it is not necessary to open the cover for cleaning, but the following points should be paid attention to during normal use:

1) Deflate in time. For the filter installed with manual air release valve, manual air release shall be carried out during each operation, because too much gas in the shell will affect the normal operation of the filter

2) Deposit frequently. After each refueling operation, sediment shall be discharged, and it is normal to have water in the sediment. If solid impurities are found during precipitation, the cause shall be found out and treatment measures shall be taken in time

3) Keep recording the differential pressure. After each operation, the filter differential pressure and fuel throughput shall be recorded in the maintenance log to judge whether the filter separator works normally. If the differential pressure drops suddenly, it shall be stopped immediately, and the cover shall be opened for inspection in time to find out the cause

4) Replace the filter element

Replace the coalescence filter element when the following conditions occur:
① The differential pressure reaches 0.1MPa
② The service life exceeds half a year
③ The filter element is damaged (the differential pressure drops suddenly)
Replace the separation filter element when the following phenomena occur:
① Damaged filter element
② The filter element fails the water spraying test
